On Friday, 6 May 2016, at night at 23:30, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 4.30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 407 and an Audi 100 Avant. Two people were injured — the 24-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Peugeot (5 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
