On Saturday, 20 August 2016, at night at 2:20, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Seda–Rubikai–Pievėnai regional road (kilometre 14.71), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Skoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when changing direction.
