On Saturday, 28 January 2017, in the morning at 9:30, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 25.32), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and an Audi A6. One person was injured — the 45-year-old driver of the Audi A6 (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi A4 (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
