Chevrolet Camaro runs off the road on the Smiltynė–Nida road
On Saturday, 29 April 2017, in the evening at around 22:00, in Neringos municipality, on the Smiltynė–Nida national road (kilometre 25), a Chevrolet Camaro ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
