Drunk, unlicensed Renault Scenic driver hits a parked Volkswagen in Alėjų village
On Friday, 7 July 2017, in the morning at around 10:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Alėjų village, on Kelmės street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Scenic and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Renault. He was drunk (3.15‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
