Drunk driver's Ford Mustang rolls over on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Saturday, 17 February 2018, in the morning at 8:50, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 97.90), a Ford Mustang rolled over. One person was injured — a 36-year-old passenger of the Ford (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Ford (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was overcast, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
