On Monday, 25 February 2019, in the evening at 19:48, in Šilutės district municipality, on Klaipėdos street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C5 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Citroen (23 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane.
