On Friday, 12 June 2020, in the evening at 18:05, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Gėluva–Jankūnai–Juodkaimiai regional road (kilometre 1.02), a Peugeot 407 registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.31‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
