Unlicensed motorcyclist rolls over on the Užventis–Tryškiai–Viekšniai road
On Friday, 19 June 2020, in the evening at 22:05, in Akmenės district municipality, on the Užventis–Tryškiai–Viekšniai national road (kilometre 37.60), a Kawasaki ZR 1000 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Kawasaki, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
