On Saturday, 8 August 2020, in the evening at 19:40, in Šilutės district municipality, on the Šilutė–Rusnė national road (kilometre 7.57), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S40 and a Renault Megane Scenic. One person was injured — the 32-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient).
