Drunk, unlicensed BMW driver and another car crash in Pašilių village
On Thursday, 17 September 2020, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Jonavos district municipality, Pašilių village, on Vilties street near No. 1, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a car. One person was injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the BMW, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (1.79‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
