Renault Espace rolls over on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva road
On Saturday, 19 September 2020, in the evening at 17:25, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 51.92), a Renault Espace rolled over. Two people were injured — a 67-year-old passenger of the Renault (treated as an outpatient) and a 58-year-old passenger of the Renault (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
