On Monday, 5 October 2020, in the morning at 6:51, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Pirčiupiai–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 22.09), a Volkswagen Golf Plus ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
