On Friday, 18 December 2020, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 176.05), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH, a Renault Trafic and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Volvo (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
