On Saturday, 23 January 2021, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Lingių village, on Priekulės street near No. 2, a Mercedes-Benz hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
