Volvo FH truck and Renault crash on the Pasvalio aplinkkelis road
On Wednesday, 3 March 2021, in the morning at 9:16, in Pasvalio district municipality, on Mūšos street, at the junction with Stoties street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH, a Renault Espace and a HFR. One person was injured — the 46-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volvo (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
