On Monday, 17 May 2021, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Aristava–Kėdainiai–Cinkiškiai national road (kilometre 28.18), a Ford Focus ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.88‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
