DAF truck crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Thursday, 2 December 2021, in the evening at around 20:00, in Rietavo municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 258), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a DAF. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the DAF (34 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
