On Thursday, 6 October 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Akmenės district municipality, on Žalgirio street near No. 9, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and an e-scooter. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of an e-scooter (treated as an outpatient).
