Hit-and-run, unlicensed Peugeot driver hits an obstacle on Vanagėlio street, Simnas
On Saturday, 31 December 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Alytaus district municipality, on Vanagėlio street near No. 7, a Peugeot 206 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
