On Tuesday, 21 February 2023, in the evening at 19:17, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 66.75), a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a Volkswagen Caravelle registered in Latvia and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
