Drunk, unlicensed driver's Lifan moped rolls over on Lauko street, Papilio town
On Saturday, 8 April 2023, in the afternoon at 15:21, in Biržų district municipality, Papilio town, on Lauko street near No. 7, a Lifan rolled over. One person was injured — the 40-year-old driver of the Lifan (hospitalized, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Lifan, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.32‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
