Unlicensed motorcyclist runs off the road on the Babriškės–Tolkūnai road
On Friday, 4 August 2023, in the evening at 19:10, in Varėnos district municipality, on the Babriškės–Tolkūnai regional road (kilometre 3), a Suzuki GSX 750 registered in Great Britain ran off the road. One person was injured — the 35-year-old driver of the Suzuki (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Suzuki, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
