Toyota and Škoda crash on the Laukuva–Šilalė road
On Monday, 25 September 2023, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Šiauduvos village, on the Laukuva–Šilalė national road (kilometre 6.10), a head-on collision while overtaking occurred. The collision involved a Toyota and a Škoda Octavia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Toyota (27 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
