On Thursday, 25 January 2024, in the morning at 7:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 95), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
