On Wednesday, 17 January 2024, in the evening at 20:15, in Vilniaus city municipality, on Žirmūnų g. near No. 147, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a truck and a Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of a truck, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
