BMW and three other cars crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Sunday, 29 September 2024, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 78.67), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 5ER Reihe, an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer SW, a BMW and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW 5ER Reihe (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
