On Thursday, 14 August 2025, in the evening at 17:20, in Šiaulių district municipality, Pastruikiškės village, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved a Yamaha, a Savos gamybos and a MTZ 82-1. Two people were injured — the 63-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized) and a 36-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Yamaha (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
