On Friday, 15 August 2025, in the evening at 19:30, in Vilniaus district municipality, Sliesoriškių village, on Parčevskių street, at the junction with Švenčionių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V40 and a Ford Kuga. Three people were injured — the 53-year-old driver of the Volvo (treated as an outpatient), a 61-year-old passenger of the Ford (treated as an outpatient) and a 81-year-old passenger of the Ford (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (2.14‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
