On Monday, 27 January 2014, at night at 23:25, in Marijampolės municipality, Kumelionių village, on Kumelionių street near No. 25, at a railway crossing, a collision with barriers occurred. The accident involved a Mazda 323. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mazda (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
