On Thursday, 7 August 2014, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on the Kybartai–Vištytis national road (kilometre 1.18), a Saab 9-3 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Saab, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
