On Saturday, 6 September 2014, in the morning at 10:46, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 37.76), a BMW 520 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
