Kia Magentis and Volkswagen crash on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Tuesday, 30 June 2015, in the afternoon at 11:58, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 35.80), a Kia Magentis rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Kia (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
