Drunk, unlicensed Rover driver runs off the road in Petronių village
On Monday, 5 October 2015, in the evening at 17:32, in Ukmergės district municipality, Petronių village, on Mokyklos street, a Rover 200 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
