Opel and two other cars crash in Svėdasų town
On Sunday, 5 June 2016, in the evening at around 20:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Svėdasų town, on the Kupiškis–Utena national road, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Opel, a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Land Cruiser. Four people were injured — the 21-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient), a 40-year-old passenger of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient), a 15-year-old passenger of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient) and a 10-year-old passenger of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
