Saab 9-5 runs off the road on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas road
On Saturday, 20 January 2018, in the morning at 9:27, in Trakų district municipality, Paluknio village, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 34), a Saab 9-5 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Saab (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
