Toyota Avensis and Volkswagen crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Friday, 16 November 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 92.25), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis and a Volkswagen Tiguan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
