On Friday, 21 June 2019, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 6.20), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT XF105.460 registered in Russia, a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1844, a Koegel Snco 24 and a Schmitz Cargobull registered in Russia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the DAF (28 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
