Opel Astra and two other cars crash on the Ąžuolų Būda–Kazlų Rūda road
On Monday, 11 November 2019, in the evening at 17:54, in Kazlų Rūdos municipality, on the Ąžuolų Būda–Kazlų Rūda national road (kilometre 0.73), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra, a Citroen C5 and a Volkswagen Passat. Three people were injured — a 4-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized), the 47-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (hospitalized) and a 2-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel (16 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. All drivers were sober.
