On Tuesday, 9 June 2020, in the morning at 7:31, in Kauno district municipality, Pagirių village, on Marijampolės street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Land Cruiser and a tractor. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.13‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
