On Tuesday, 8 September 2020, in the evening at 19:38, in Vilniaus district municipality, Didžiosios Riešės village, on Molėtų street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota RAV4, a Nissan X-Trail and a BMW 318d registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Toyota (29 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (1.49‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
