Toyota Yaris Verso and Honda motorcycle crash in Kauno district
On Tuesday, 29 September 2020, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kauno district municipality, on Rokų pl., a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris Verso and a Honda. One person was injured — the 70-year-old driver of the Honda (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
