On Wednesday, 28 April 2021, in the evening at 17:12, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 105), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen LT 32 registered in France and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen LT 32 (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
