On Thursday, 10 June 2021, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Šilaičių village, on Ramygalos street near No. 195, an Audi 80 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 85-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 10 km/h.
