On Saturday, 11 December 2021, in the morning at 9:27, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 22), a Mini Cooper registered in Great Britain ran off the road. One person was injured — the 33-year-old driver of the Mini (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mini (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.97‰ blood alcohol).
