Skoda Superb and Volkswagen crash on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Saturday, 2 April 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 50.15), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Superb and a Volkswagen Passat Variant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Skoda (20 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
