On Sunday, 10 September 2023, in the evening at 18:15, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Radiškis–Anykščiai–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 20.25), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70, a Land Rover and a Nissan X-Trail. Two people were injured — the 50-year-old driver of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient) and a 57-year-old passenger of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volvo (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
