On Monday, 22 January 2024, in the afternoon at 16:53, in Šiaulių district municipality, Lieporių village, on Lieporių street, a Volvo S80 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.38‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
