Nissan X-Trail and three other cars crash on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda road
On Sunday, 14 April 2024, in the afternoon at 15:44, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 88), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan X-Trail, a Hyundai i 30, a Skoda Superb and a Toyota Corolla. One person was injured — the 46-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Nissan (21 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
