On Thursday, 8 August 2024, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kauno district municipality, Sausinės village, on Sausinės street near No. 2, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania, a trailer ≤ 0.75 t and a BMW M1 registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Scania (32 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
